Members Meeting

We are going to be having a Members Meeting following the Sunday service on May 25.

The purpose of this meeting is twofold. On the agenda, the Board will be proposing a motion to accept the proposed "Statement on Humanity, Gender, Marriage and Sexuality." Following our Members discussion on this document back in February, we have taken the feedback, edited the document, approved it by the board, and we are now ready to present it to the congregation. You can find the newly proposed draft attached to this Event page.

The second part of the agenda is to nominate and motion to accept Carl Dyck as a board Member. The election of new board members usually takes place at the AGM, however, as the board we were not prepared at that time to make this nomination. Carl has been serving as a member in our church for the past two years and we have recognized his servants heart, his deep faith, and wisdom in leadership. We believe that Carl would be a valuable addition to our team and to the leadership of this church. We ask that you would pray as you consider this vote.

If there is any other business that you, as a member, would like to be added to the agenda, please inform myself (Pastor David), or any of our board team at least 1 week prior to the meeting. That way we may be able to prepare for the discussion.
