This Week's Passage

This week we are looking at Mark 8:14-21, where Jesus and the disciples are once again travelling across the lake in a boat and once again they are having some kind of crisis. They have no bread.

The Yeast of the Pharisees and Herod that Jesus is talking about has to do with demanding signs. Read Mark 8:11 and Luke 23:8. Is Jesus giving them this warning in connection to their crisis of bread?

Why are the disciples still blind to the miracles Jesus has done in the provision of food? 

What does the warning of the yeast and the example of Jesus' provision tell us about who Jesus is and how we should come to him?
