This Week's Passage

This week's passage is 2 Kings 4 as we continue to look at the life and ministry of Elisha. As you look at this passage before Sunday, ponder some of these questions:

What can be learned through these four stories about the theme of Abundant Blessing/Provision?

Do you live with a guarded heart like the Shunammite woman, thinking it is better to live without raised hopes or hope at all?

Read the first two stories along with 1 Kings 17:7-24. How do the two women respond differently? How do Elijah and Elisha respond differently? 

In what ways do we see Elisha portrayed as a type of Christ? How does Elisha point forward to Jesus?
